The day of reckoning

Its very sad for a parent to realise that they are not capable of taking care of their child's need. This was an opening statement from a mother who was seeking assistance to take her teenage doughter to high school. The girl passed highly but I have to face her and tell her I failed you since I cant keep my end of the burgain.  It was not always like this my mother strugglled single handedly with the 9 of us and made sure we got a decent education and were upright tax payers.  I looked at the Mama and wondered has it come to this? Gone are the days when uncles could volunteer to pay something for their relatives or the church or just any welwisher.  No this is not true there are many more opportunities for our children to persue education than they were before, unfortunately and this is true for this mama, the information is with a select few and these enjoy the benefits of charity while the real beneficiaries oogle in poverty and continue in its cycle.  Take the mama for example
