Lord make me an instrument. Not a trumpet or a guitar Not an organ or a flute But an instrument of peace God make me a teacher Not a teacher of philosophy Nor a teacher of Music or art But a teacher of humility Lord make me a servant Not in governance Not in business But a servant of your people Lord make me an instrument of peace Lord make me  a teacher of humility Lord make me a servant of your people Lord make me a human being.

My child life is short But it can also be full So live it to the full But with God in hear shot

Thank you Lord for the gifts you have given me.  The small invisible  things that make this insignificant life worth moving.  The big hearty things that throb and make my heart merry, the wonderful things that make my world beautiful, but also the pain and sorrow that make me humble, the struggle and strife that make me wonder and the tears that flow that wash my heart each time its strained.  For this and many more I say....THANK YOU.

If today is nae and that be my day I will take it as it nears As I know of a better dear If yesterday was to repeat And I had to do it a feat Then I would do it the same For I have no one to blame Today is what I have Yesterday I could have but its gone in far yonder And I should not wonder Then I will live for today And forgive for yesterday Look forward to another day With God all my days
