Rigz @ 15


Today I say God is wonderful for thus far we have come 
Rigz turns 15 and we are gladly rejoicing in the doing of the almighty. 

On a day like today 15 years ago you came to the world and made your position in our family known, the first in all and the last by name; Warigia.
You are the child that God chose to use to make me take the big step from being just me to being a co-creator with Him, I am humbled that He indeed chose to give me that great responsibility to care for His most precious gift; for you indeed are precious, beautiful, loving and Gods perfect gift to our family.
As you turn a year older today I thank God for the far He has brought us and continue to pray that He blesses you abundantly, with more beauty, cheer and favour, may you grow in His love and wisdom, may you conquer all and may you have limitless opportunity for His glory and praise.
Today I rededicate the promise I made to you on that day you were born that I will be the best I can be for you, that with God on our side we shall truly overcome, I thank you for making things not so hard for me ask God to continue guiding us through this journey one day at a time.

This far Lord you have brought me and all I can say is THANK YOU.      Today I am quite a different person from that skinny inquisitive kid who wouldn't rest until I got all the answers.  Now I have learnt that some things are better not to know that the less you know the better you are. When the mind plays hide and seak-a dedication

I pride myself to be of above average IQ but recently I have had situations where I have questioned that very brilliant mind given some of the decisions I have made.  It is indeed hard for the kind of mind I have that has to breakdown every little detail and place it rationally in its precise correct and sometimes permanent position.  Nothing happens out of chance.  Oh whom am I kidding sometimes its better to let things be and not think too much into issues.  The more you take your brain on an override the more you get confused. So I have decided for my own sanity let some things be and have fun all the way. St Augustine the great scholar once encountered a boy trying to empty the ocean, I am reminded by his story that some things are beyond reasoning and can only be understood through feeling. Its a decade of love cuddles and more love - Rigz

Today my baby you turn 10 years, that is a Decade.  10 years of love growing and expanding WAH! I remember like it was yesterday that first day you came to this earth, very calmly and yet with quite a bang.  That hot afternoon on December 9th 2004 at the Nairobi Women's Hospital is the day you chose to set me apart from all women.  Nothing sure compares to the love I felt for you that day, they say there is nothing like love at first sight they are very wrong, the minute I saw you tired as I was I fell deeply and tremendously in love. Today 10 years later that love continues to grow. I no longer look at you all the time even while you sleep for fear that you may disappear like I used to do when you were weeks old, You see you were so cute I could not believe you were all mine,  today I know you are going nowhere but that adoration is still there.  I still however take time to look at you when you sleep so I can feel that peace I got used to when you were little.
