At times like this I jot something down

Its hard to distinguish between mapaja na mapacha unless you know the story of fungua mapaja upate mapacha.

If I die I want it to be said that there lies a great woman, I know I will not hear it but it is important for all those who will come after me.  Also let them say there in that mound that now lies docile lived a very active soul, I would also like them to say she was a survivor to the end ironic ah yes please.

Mama you make me proud, I always thought I was the one who was destined to do so but each day I see I can never make you as proud as you make me.

If there is need to gain the whole world let me start by gaining my soul for what is the need to gain the whole world and lose that one part where I can dwell

Man is born free but everywhere he goes he is in chains sometimes put on by himself

Eat when you are hungry and pleas do it in the right ratios.

A rhino will not stop to attach you because you are a vegetarian just as a lion will not stop to kill you because you did not kill it, don't expect people to treat you well because you treat them well.

This far Lord you have brought me and all I can say is THANK YOU.      Today I am quite a different person from that skinny inquisitive kid who wouldn't rest until I got all the answers.  Now I have learnt that some things are better not to know that the less you know the better you are. I have learnt the different fights to  take, those to leave and those to fight on another day. I  have learnt that we don't have to agree to be friends that even if you are my friend you have your own opinion.  I have also learnt that there are friends for different reasons and just because they did not visit you at the hospital when you were sick it does not mean that they do not care or that they love you less.  I have learnt that I need to be independent strong and self sufficient but I also sometimes need guidance and being led by the hand.  It has been a long journey and the horizon is still far but thus far I have learnt a lot of life skills and the difference it has with a lifeskills.

When the mind plays hide and seak-a dedication

I pride myself to be of above average IQ but recently I have had situations where I have questioned that very brilliant mind given some of the decisions I have made.  It is indeed hard for the kind of mind I have that has to breakdown every little detail and place it rationally in its precise correct and sometimes permanent position.  Nothing happens out of chance.  Oh whom am I kidding sometimes its better to let things be and not think too much into issues.  The more you take your brain on an override the more you get confused. So I have decided for my own sanity let some things be and have fun all the way. St Augustine the great scholar once encountered a boy trying to empty the ocean, I am reminded by his story that some things are beyond reasoning and can only be understood through feeling. Its a decade of love cuddles and more love - Rigz

Today my baby you turn 10 years, that is a Decade.  10 years of love growing and expanding WAH! I remember like it was yesterday that first day you came to this earth, very calmly and yet with quite a bang.  That hot afternoon on December 9th 2004 at the Nairobi Women's Hospital is the day you chose to set me apart from all women.  Nothing sure compares to the love I felt for you that day, they say there is nothing like love at first sight they are very wrong, the minute I saw you tired as I was I fell deeply and tremendously in love.
